Teeth Cleaning and Oral Hygiene Service
Oral hygiene is the practice of keeping the mouth and teeth clean to prevent dental problems, most commonly, dental cavities, gingivitis, periodontal (gum) diseases and bad breath.
There are also oral pathologic conditions in which good oral hygiene is required for healing and regeneration of the oral tissues.
These conditions include gingivitis, periodontitis.
The gum diseases are caused initially by plaque accumulation and calcified deposits, which can be above or below the gum. It is very important to remove these deposits and keep them as minimal as possible by regular cleaning sessions. These cleaning sessions are customized for each patient in terms of intervals between visits, depending on their needs. Our hygienists are exceptionally trained to perform cleaning on patients awake or under sedation/general anesthesia.
